Affton Squirt Gold Team 12/20/2007 BY: Tom Carroll - Head Coach The Affton Squirt Gold Team has posted seven wins against no loses. The team is well balanced with mostly second year players who have been together since mites. Every player on the team has at least one goal and one assist. The forwards are Dylan Carroll, Sam Maddox, Zach Whisler, Zach Ponder, Jacob Naeger, Tom Schlaker, Alec Hernandez; Defense is Hunter Rose, Mitchell Dohle, Robert Croxton, Matt LaBarge, and Pete Genovese. Between the pipes is Dominic Montero, a first year goalie has posted two shutouts. This group of hockey players is the most unselfish players. They look for the pass first. No one player stands out. The team is a pleasure to coach and the parents are pretty good too.
