Affton PeeWee 2 won the Winged Warrior Tournament Championship in Indianapolis. The team defeated the Firewagon Yellowjackets (Illinois) 4-2 and tied the team 1-1. Affton Squirt 2 defeated Twin Bridges 3-1 to win the championship game of the Big Bear FireBird Tournament in St. Louis. The team fought back after a loss to Twin Bridges in the round robin portion of the tournament to bring home the banner. Congratulations to the players and coaches!
Affton Bantam B1 won the Dream Catcher tournament championship in Evansville, Indiana. The team defeated St. Louis Rockets (Hoehn) 6-1 and the Evansville Thunder 2-1. Despite a 3-1 loss to St. Louis Rockets (Doty), the team advanced to the final and defeated Evansville Thunder 3-2 in overtime to win the championship. Congratulations to the players and coaches!

Coach Nick Staely’s Bantam 1 team won the Between the Lines Big Bear Tournament in Nashville. The team was undefeated, beating the Knoxville Ice Bears, Nashville Flyers, and Atlanta Mad Hatters, and allowed only one goal the entire tournament. Goalie Colin Lowry was named MVP.
