Lady Liberty

Lady Liberty Learn-To-Play

Learn to Play is run by our highly experienced LTP staff and introduces girls to the sport of ice hockey in a fun, non-competitive program. No skating instruction is necessary to participate in Learn to Play. Our certified, on-ice coaches help kids learn the basics of hockey, including skating, stick handling, passing, and shooting skills. LTP is open to kids of all ages, but participants typically range in age from 3 to 12 years old. As players progress through the Learn to Play program, they are moved to teams appropriate to their skill level. Learn to Play skates are every Sunday afternoon beginning on November 16, 2025 and concluding on Sunday, February 8, 2026 for a total of 12 LTP weekends. There is no LTP on MLK Weekend, January 18, 2026. Full gear is required for Learn to Play participants.
