Lady Liberty 6U ADM Program
Lady Liberty’s 6U ADM program closely follows the guidelines set forth by USA Hockey’s American Development Model (ADM). Our objectives include nurturing a love of the game at an early age and emphasizing fundamentals including skating, stick handling, passing, and shooting. Station-based practices are utilized to maximize learning and to capture the attention of our young girls.
Players are evaluated and assigned to skill-appropriate teams. Games are played on a cross-ice rink against other local organizations. Teams also participate in local weekend tournaments called Jamborees with other local youth hockey organizations.
The 6U ADM season includes:
- 24 practice ice touches
- 10 game ice touches
- 4 Jamboree tournaments (4 games or 2 hours per Jamboree, all local)
- Game jersey and socks
ADM is offered as part of Lady Liberty’s Fall/Winter session starting in August and continuing through March.
