Affton Americans Spring 2024 Programs 

Affton Hockey is offering the following programs for Spring 2024. For Lady Liberty Spring Programs, Affton’s all-girl hockey program, please click on the Lady Liberty Spring Programs tab. Learn To Play (April 13 thru June 22)

This program is run by our highly experienced Learn to Play staff and introduces children to the sport of hockey in a fun, non-competitive program. LTP is for girls and boys, ages 3 to 13 years old. No skating experience is necessary.

Mite ADM (April 12 thru June 9)

This program is for 6U Mites (2018 birth year or younger)  and 8U Mites (2016 birth year or younger). Participants should be current Mite players or higher end LTP players.  It combines regular weekly practices and pond hockey games.

Gateway 4-on-4 Program (March 30 thru June 8)

This program fields teams at the Squirt (2014 & 2015) PeeWee (2012 & 2013) and  Bantam (2010 & 2011) divisions. Gateway 4-on-4 combines weekly practices and full-ice games under the direction of Affton coaches.

Bantam Checking Camp (March 21-24)

This program for 2011 birth year Affton Hockey players offers three checking sessions in March leading up to the Spring hockey season.

St. Louis Eagles Spring Elite Program (April 1 thru June 9, Tryouts March 25-30)

This program fields the top 36 skaters and 4 goalies in seven divisions: U14 (2010), U13 (2011), U12 (2012), U11 (2013) and U10 (2014), U9 (2015), U8 (2016/17). All divisions are open to the CSDHL South Pod of Affton, Meramec, and Southern Illinois hockey clubs. Spring Elite program is run by St. Louis Eagles Head Coaches and combines weekly practices and games.

St. Louis Eagles Spring Elite 6U Program (April-May, Tryouts in March)

This program is for players age 5 to 6 years old (2018 and 2019 birth year) who have completed Learn to Play and are able to complete station-based drills. Eagles Spring Elite 6U is open to players in the CSDHL South Pod of Affton, Meramec, and Southern Illinois hockey clubs and is run by St. Louis Eagles head coaches. Selected players will receive nine hours of practice ice and a reversible jersey. Tryout schedule will be posted and emailed to all registered players.

Midget Elite League 15U, 16U and 18U (April 8-May 22, Tryouts March 25-30)

This program is geared toward elite level players age 15 to 18 (2006 to 2009 birth years) and is open to players from all organizations. This skills-based program will be practices only. Tryouts are March 25-30. Schedule will be posted and emailed in mid-March.

Midget Spring League  (May-July)

This program is geared toward A and AA level players age 15 to 18 (2006, 2007, 2008  and 2009 birth years). The league will consist of 4 Midget teams that will field 16 skaters and 1-2 goalies per team. Goaltenders are free on a first-come, first-served basis.
