Lady Liberty Learn to Play introduces girls to the sport of ice hockey in fun, non-competitive program. No skating instruction is necessary to participate in Learn to Play. Our certified, on-ice coaches help girls learn the basics of hockey, including skating, stick handling, passing, and shooting skills. Additionally, more experienced players from Lady Liberty teams volunteer their time to help the girls learn and have fun. LTP is open to girls of all ages, but participants typically range in age from 3 to 14 years old.

Participants receive 10 hours of developmental ice. Spring hockey programs are open to skaters from all organizations. Full gear is required for Learn to Play and players must provide their own equipment. The fee for the program is $100.
