Affton’s Travel Hockey Program is for players interested in playing in a more competitive environment with other local organizations as well as a few out-of-town tournaments. Affton’s travel hockey teams are part of the Missouri Hockey Youth League, a competitive league that is tiered for age and skill level. 

Affton American’s travel teams compete against other youth hockey organizations in St. Louis and the surrounding area, including Springfield Mo,. Columbia, Mo., Kansas City, and Springfield, Il. Additionally, travel teams compete in out-of-town tournaments based on the interest of team members. Affton’s travel teams receive excellent coaching and plenty of ice time, making our teams among the most competitive in the league.

At the 10U (Squirt), 12U (PeeWee), and 14U (Bantam) levels, teams receive approximately 54 home ice touches in addition to Missouri Hockey away games, playoff games, and miscellaneous practice and tournament games. Also included is 12 hours of off-ice training with a certified personal trainer and Rapid Shot instructor.
