Affton’s Central States teams participate in the Chicago-based CSDHL, an elite Tier II league of teams administered by the Amateur Hockey Association of Illinois. This program offers players the opportunity to compete against the best youth hockey teams in the Midwest. Players receive skilled coaching, extra practices and games, and compete in high-level tournaments.

The team receives approximately 85 home ice touches in addition to CSDHL away games, playoffs, and miscellaneous practice and tournament games. Also included is 12 hours of off-ice training with a certified personal trainer and Rapid Shot instructor.

Affton offers six CSDHL teams for Squirt; PeeWee Minor; Bantam Major; U15, U16, and U18 Midget levels.Tryouts are held in June and teams skate from August through March. For more information visit the CSDHL website at www.csdhl.org.
