Lady Liberty, Affton Hockey’s all-female hockey club, is pleased to announce the addition of Kory Haywood, Lady Liberty Vice President, and Jason Carrera, Director of Player Development, to the club’s leadership team. Haywood serves as the Lady Liberty representative on the Affton Hockey Board. Carrera joins the Lady Liberty staff as Director of Player Development and will oversee coaching for the teams. Both Carrera and Haywood will work with Lady Liberty Director Kasey Kaiser to oversee the continued growth of Lady Liberty and the development of female hockey players through the club’s teams and programs.
Established in 2017, Lady Liberty is Affton Hockey’s all-girl hockey club for female players of all ages and skill levels, from Learn-to-Play for girls as young as three years old to highly competitive, elite-level teams for young women up to age 19. Lady Liberty’s skilled, experienced, and certified coaching staff focuses on fundamental skills and game aptitude while nurturing a love of the game.
