Affton Hockey Learn to Play begins Sunday, November 5. Thank you to all who are registered. We are excited to introduce your children to the game of hockey and help them develop skills. Players needing rental equipment should attend one of the fitting days on November 1 or 3.
Please note the following details:
- GROUPS: Participants are divided into the three groups. Group 1 is for players new to skating, Group 2 is for players who can skate without assistance, and Group 3 is for players that have skating experience. Coaches may decide to move some players among the groups as they evaluate skill level. The coaches will let you know if your child is moved to a different group.
- GEAR: Participants must have full equipment for LTP. Players needing rental equipment should attend a fitting day.
- TIMES & RINKS: LTP begins Sunday, November 5 and continues until Sunday, February 11. There are no LTP sessions December 24 (Christmas Eve) and January 14 (MLK Weekend). Mark your calendars – NYE skates begin at 2:20 pm and February skates begin at 2:20 pm. All ice times are at Affton Ice Rink.
