Affton Americans Spring 2025 Programs

Learn To Play 

This program is run by our highly experienced Learn to Play staff and introduces children to the sport of hockey in a fun, non-competitive program. LTP is for girls and boys, ages 3 to 13 years old. No skating experience is necessary. Full equipment is required. Fittings for rental equipment take place week of April 7. Skates are held at Affton Ice Rink on Saturday mornings from April 12 through June 14. Cost $175.

Mite ADM 

This program is for 6U Mites (2019 birth year or younger)  and 8U Mites (2017 birth year or younger). Participants should be current Mite players or higher end LTP players.  It combines regular weekly practices and pond hockey games held at Affton Ice Rink. The program begins April 11 and concludes June 6. Cost is $365.

Gateway 4-on-4 Program 

This program is for players 9 to 13 years old at the A, B, and C level and is open to players from all organizations. The National Division (Junior) fields six teams at the 2014, 2015, and 2016 birth years. The American Division (Senior) fields teams at the 2012, 2013, and 2014 birth years. Gateway 4-on-4 includes 10 to 12 full-ice games under the direction of Affton coaches. Cost is $295. Goaltenders are free but will be selected in order of registration. The league begins April 11 and concludes with championship games on June 30.

Bantam Checking Camp 

This program for 2012 birth year Affton Hockey players offers three checking sessions in March leading up to the Spring hockey season. Cost is $60.

Midget Elite League 15U, 16U and 18U

This program is geared toward elite level players age 15 to 18 (2007 to 2010 birth years) and is open to players from all organizations. This skills-based program will be practices only. Tryouts begin March 31 and the program runs from April 7 to May 30. Schedule will be posted and emailed in mid-March.

St. Louis Eagles Spring Elite Program

This program fields the top skaters and goalies in seven divisions at the U8 through U14 levels (2011-2018 birth year) and each division consists of approximately 24 forwards, 12 defensemen and 4 goalies. Eagles Spring Elite Program is led by some of the area’s top, elite-level coaches and features goalie instruction once a week. All divisions are open to the CSDHL South Pod of Affton, Meramec, and Southern Illinois hockey clubs. Spring Elite program is run by St. Louis Eagles Head Coaches and combines weekly practices and games.

St. Louis Eagles Spring Elite 6U Program

This program is for players age 5 to 6 years old (2019 and 2020 birth year) who have completed Learn to Play and are able to complete station-based drills. Eagles Spring Elite 6U is open to players in the CSDHL South Pod of Affton, Meramec, and Southern Illinois hockey clubs and is run by St. Louis Eagles head coaches. Players will receive eight hours of practice ice and a reversible jersey. Program begins April 3 and concludes May 22. Cost is $200.
