CJ Schutz will lead Lady Liberty 16U/19U Elite as head coach for the 2024-25 season. Schutz played youth hockey for Affton Americans from Learn to Play through 18U and played varsity hockey for Oakville High School. Schutz played junior hockey for the St. Louis Frontenacs of the Great Lakes Junior Hockey League. He graduated from the University of Missouri – Columbia in 2016 with a degree in Financial Planning.
Schutz has coached for Affton Hockey for the past five season at various levels. In 2022, Schutz lead the Affton 14U Bantam A2 team to a Blue Note Cup Championship. He also serves as a coach in the United Girls High School Hockey League and serves on the board of directors.
When not at the rink, Schuts is dedicated to his career as a realtor. Schutz and his fiance, Ali, live in Soulard with their French bulldog.
